“Asian Gojuryu Karate Championship”The “Asian Gojuryu Karate Championship” competition was held in Malaysia and the particular Indian students had taken part as well. This competition was held from 2 to 7 dec.2009 in Kamrun Holland Malaysia. In this competition 12 countries had taken part i.e. (China, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Srilanka, India, Bangladesh, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Philippines, Iran). On Dec 9th and 10th there was a match between India and Singapore and the Indians performed well in this particular match. Team Coach: Ganesh Balkrishna Dalvi (5th Dan black belt) is working as an officer in sales department. He is working since last few years in the same post and making proud to India in other countries as well. Technical Director: Prakash Rattilal Wagh (5th Dan black belt) is working in police department as an Assistance Inspector. He is the only first Indian who got Black belt in Police department. He is also honored by the President of India for the same achievement. Ganesh Dalvi and Prakash Wagh both have passed the exam of Karate referee with “A “grade.
